Design and Installation of electrical services to Society Headquarters

This was a fast track project the Society having decided to exhibit on a permanent basis at the Royal Showground Stoneleigh, only a few months before the start of the show.

The electrical services were on a design and build basis, involving the preparation of a suitable design to meet the performance spec along with a project cost.

Services included Lighting, small power, distribution, fire and intruder systems with infloor trunking system for data services, and the modification and diversion of services passing through area of works to allow construction.

In addition works encompassed various supplies to mechanical services equipment and boiler house wiring, dedicated supplies to computer rooms and a display / decorative lighting scheme to the Ground Floor Conferencing Area.

The electrical scheme also involved the design and installation of an electric heating system utilizing fan assisted Night Storage Heaters to the main open plan office and small convertor heaters to smaller storage and kitchen areas.

One a final note the project was completed, inspected and commissioned on time for the start of the Annual events.
